At FRI we aim to address the real needs of franchise professionals and their organisations. Our Foundation Field Manager Bootcamp provides new field managers with the tools and strategies to establish and manage effective relationships with their franchisees.

We recently conducted Foundation Field Manager Bootcamps (FMBs) in Brisbane and Sydney. More than 60 field managers attended from 32 different franchise companies, all seeking to continue their professional development and improve their effectiveness in the field.

Over 2-days, participants were actively involved in robust large group discussions, skill practice role plays, individual self-reflection exercises and productive round table discussions. Throughout the Bootcamps, participants dedicated their time to working through the concepts and strategies introduced by FRI, and generated ideas for implementing this new knowledge ‘on the job’. They were challenged, encouraged and motivated by the FRI facilitators and each other.

Topics included the Franchisee Journey, the 8 functions of the field manager role, the Franchise E-Factor, solution-focused coaching, 6 steps for more effective visits, the NEMO model for dealing with challenging situations, The Group Scoop process for facilitating franchisee meetings, and action planning.

Importantly, our FMB participants tell us that they finished the 2-days feeling motivated, energised, satisfied, confident and excited!
