Due to FRI's focus on research and developing unique IP, we were invited by the Institute of Management Consultants to address its members on the process of building an IP based company.

FRI founder Greg Nathan shared our journey of developing tools books and training programs for the franchising sector including the process of research and productisation. The talk stimulated a lot of interest and discussion as many consultants also want to develop products they can sell to clients over and above charging for services that are typically charged on an hourly rate.

One of the themes to emerge from discussion was the amount of time, money and effort, that is required to produce high quality products that genuinely meet the needs of clients. This is something we care a lot about at FRI and which we think sets us apart from other consulting firms.
